Launch of BEN FATTO ready meals and a new line of pre-sliced cured meats in the US. CAWI research on Golfetta, designed to plan future marketing activities, showed that 58% of respondents consume the product and that the main purchase motivations are taste and lightness.

LOCAL SUPPLIERS
90% of our pork raw materials come from domestic breeders, 50% of which are in Emilia-Romagna. We favour short supply chains: small to medium-sized suppliers located within 100 km of us.

ECO-SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING
Our organic product packaging is environmentally friendly and uses 65-75% less plastic than traditional trays.

Goodbye to F-gases.
In the period of two years 2023-2024, thanks to our refrigeration plant, we abandoned the use of F-gases, favouring more environmentally friendly solutions, such as CO2.

Clean energy from renewable sources.
Since 2024, Golfera has only purchased energy from 100% renewable sources.

A more sustainable drinking water plant.
Our plant, which makes drinking water "chlorine-free" using ozone, has resulted in a saving of 100,000 kg of chlorine in 2024.

Reduced energy consumption.
Expansion of the photovoltaic system, with the integration of an additional 850 kW and the installation of a new 600-watt co-generator.

Reduced SCOPE 1 emissions*.
Thanks to the measures implemented since 2022, we reduced SCOPE 1 emissions* by 68%. *Emissions generated by the company's internal activities.

Separation of more than 24,000 kg of plastic, and increased paper and cardboard recycling by an equal amount.
